Amazing trekking at a remarkable height of 4700 meters. The views from the summit point of Pangarchulla can not be explained in few words. Ascending on the hills was somehow difficult but descending was quite easier. Pangarchulla Peak terrain is entirely covered with snow but fewer grounds are perfect for fixing tents.

The trek was not too strenuous, suitable for slightly older people like me. Felt a little stiff every now and then, but the trek leader was very cooperative and would slow down to give me a few minutes of rest. Returned home safe and sound.

The Kuari pass trek, also referred to as the Lord Curzon trail trek, is surely one of the most popular and finest treks in the Indian Himalayas. Another doable trek is the Himalayan peak called Pangarchulla (4700 m). Pangarchulla peak poses challenges which keep on changing with seasons.
Beginning of the season (Apr/May) the climb involves navigating through deep snow while later in the season (Sep/Oct) difficulty comes in the form of bouldering and traversing screed slopes. So the best months will be from April to June.
This peak can be climbed by fit first time trekkers also but with some hard work put into it. This is a moderate trek barring one challenging day when you will literally be atop of the world when you get to the Pangarchula peak at about 4700m.
This is a demanding step but technically easy climb which even first timers can attempt.
There are a couple things that are essential to carry for a trek.
- A 60 liters backpack with a plastic or water-proof lining
- High-ankle trekking shoes with good grip (Shoes with thick souls are recommended)
- Trekking pole or stick

There are proper meals with subsequent nutritional values planned for the people coming in for the trek. From dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 6, all meals will be provided. This would include nutritional vegetarian meals, a total of 6 in a day, with the addition of tea and coffee during breaks.
Carrying medicines is important while trekking anywhere in the world. Your first-aid should have anti-diarrhea medicine such as loperamide but make sure that you don't take it unless getting to a toilet isn't an option. During the trekking you may not have access to pharmacies.
So it’s better to have medications ready. Yes, you can carry diamox and can be taken too if having sickness/nausea.
