I was expecting a simple trek, but this seemed to be a dicey and challenging one. Most of my co-trekkers seemed to enjoy this and the overall service was good. We got enough time to explore Nagar town. Our base camp was very good and tents and sleeping bags were of very good quality. Amazing part of the trek was jeep ride as it give us opportunity to see beautiful mountains and landscapes.

I have never been to North India for a trek, but when I chose to go for the Bhrigu Lake Trek, I was more than happy. This was a very organized trek well handled by professionals. Everything was per promised and our guide was very helpful and approachable. May be food could have been more better.

Guide was friendly, but we struggled so hard to find the pick-up point. We arrived to the spot just in nick of time. The pick-up point was almost 4 kms away from our place of stay, and as we don’t speak the language we found it tough.

Bhrigu Lake Trek is something that can be taken either over a weekend or over 4-5 days. We opted to take this trek over a weekend as it was a summer trek for us. It was interesting to take it. This was my first experience of trekking in. The Himalayas and let me tell you really awesome .the great Himalayas has always fascinated me... We were group of twenty young chaps, started from gulaba top ...there too lived in the tents which can be rented at very low cost its a better option to stay here a day or two before the trek to bhrigu lake rather than down in manali..the trek took us almost 8km all the way to top, and about 10 hrs, , all tiring reaching to the top..but what an amazing miracle to see bhrigu lake which never freezes, amazing natural marvel..a lake at 14500ft from sea level, almost like the Everest base camp..if u happen to climb just a little higher to the top you can see all the great pics of pir panjal and rob tang to valley also you would need a bare min climbing gear if u trek dying may-july.coming down is another fun , with the high ice slides on the way down.... I consider this as a personal achievement.
