Jeep Safari – WOW! Spiti Safari is a Jeep Safari that can be taken during May to October. This is the best safari in India. From Manali, this safari starts and proceeds forward to Rohtang pass. This is one of the very great experiences that I have had in the travel front for me. It was an interesting experience. As of the cost aspects, the safari seems quite costly for what it has to offer. Nevertheless, the Safari was indeed good and fine. I recommend this safari to everyone. This is worth the time and money.

Beautiful, unexplored place and the best part away from all the cobwebs of city. This place is heaven on earth. It is hard to believe that such beauty even exists. But yes, beauty comes at a price. Its hard to reach. Weather is extreme. I went there via Kinnaur. And Kinnaur is not for the light hearted. Its a long, tiring and dangerous journey with a treasure at the end.

This shows sightseeing to us like never before. If you want to patiently and happily sightsee around Manali and Rohtang Pass, this is the option. There is no age restriction still due to extreme climatic conditions, it is better to be physically very fit to take this expedition. This was a really fun, interesting, and informative experience. We even got to know more about the heritage, culture, and lifestyle of people here: thanks, to our guide.

Sightseeing options are always boring to me. Therefore when people suggested this safari, I thought it is going to be yet another boring sightseeing experience. However, I was totally wrong. It was a great experience. I was more than happy to have taken this spiti safari.

Spiti is more beautiful than the account that substantiate the claims behind its beauty. kaza is at a higher altitude than Leh. the journey is very dangerous either from manali or kalpa but it is worth it. the peace, beauty and serenity you find there are unparalleled. even ladakh stands nothing before it.

Wonderful time indeed. Being inside snow for the first time was a heart-warming experience. Since I was small I wanted to see and touch snow and finally in this amazing trip I was able to. I felt great. It is a memory I am gonna cherish for the rest of my life. Besides the snow the trip itself was excellent. Would like to return to this place again.
Spiti remains cut off from the rest of India for 6 months of the year. Thick Himalayan snow blocks the mountain passes, making it almost impossible for road transport to pass through. The summer months of late May to late September are therefore the best time to visit Spiti.
Altitude sickness is very common among trekkers during himalayan treks, it is wise to consult your doctor for the right medication before your trip. Drinking lots of water can also help stabilize the body along with resting at regular intervals. The best rate of acclimatization is to gain no more than 300m (1000 feet) per a day. If you increase this rate you will be much more susceptible to Elevation Sickness. Getting adequate sleep can also help avoid this.
All your meals are provided on this trek along with fun cookout sessions. Himalayan water is considered a clean and mineral water but to be on the safe side you will get boiled water with chlorine tablets.
Make sure to carry warm and comfortable clothing as temperature can drop, pack good quality trekking shoes, slippers and extra pair of socks. It’s advisable to carry sunscreen lotion or any other skin moisturisers as the sun at the top can be harsh. Water bottles and energy bars/snacks are advisable. A Flashlight (with spare batteries) will help once the sun goes down and it’s always smart to carry insect repellent and emergency medical kit.
No, these substances are strictly prohibited.
For the Spiti Valley Tour by car, eight days and seven nights are enough. The tour starts from Manali or New Delhi and ends back to either of these places. During these 8 days, some of the key places that you will visit include Key Gompa Monastery, Spiti, Hikkim and Komik.
Spiti Valley is famous for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Additionally, it is known all over the county for its ancient monasteries, which boast of amazing architecture, stunning designs and peaceful ambiance. You can also find a lot of exotic wildlife and birds here, including Siberian Ibex, Red Fox, Golden Eagle and more.
You can find snow in Spiti Valley during the months of December, January, February and March. Spiti Valley experiences winters during these months, when the weather is cool and pleasant during the days and the temperatures drop to sub-zero levels at nights. It is in these months when you can see a dense blanket of white snow all around you in Spiti.
