We absolutely loved the trek to Garhwal Himalayas on our vacation! As someone who loves water, the scenery of the lake by Chaukhamba Peak was really worth every single penny we spent on this trip! We spent around 5 days here in the cold, but did not feel the chills of the place as it was so tranquil and serene!

Though we started from Haridwar, the trek started from Kund on the second day. On the first day we had a knowledgeable discussion session with our trek organisers and the guides. After we started the Deorital trek, there was no stopping behind and one the fourth day we embarked on the Chandrashila peak trek. Compared to all the days, the fourth day's trek was pretty tough but it was total worth after we reached the peak. Special thanks to the guides and the instructors for being so helpful and calm all through the way. Simply lived it!

Deoria Tal and Chandrashila Trek with Chopta is a short trek up to the most spellbinding peaks in Garhwal district. At the starting of this trekking journey we went to the Deoria Tal, where we totally enjoyed and relished the charming beauty of Deoria Tal Lake while standing at 2438 m. This is my favourite Himalayan trek as you get to see the radiance of the sunset during this trek in the most brilliant way possible here.

This trek is something that is truly enjoyable. This view is from the Chaukhamba Peak; this is where we captured the stunning and gorgeous views of the Deoria Tal Lake and its pristine, clear, and mirror-like waters. I was awestruck totally. During this trek, we reached the Tungnath temple, the highest shrine of Shiva in the world. This shrine is sheer brilliance and stunning thing ever in the world. The trekking path is amazingly challenging for newbies.Must visit this trek if your are a trekker!

A big up for this trek. Had awesome and amazing moments especially on the second, third and fourth day as we were trekking to Deorital, Chopta and finally to Chandrashila peak. The hike part was not so hard except the second and fourth day. In fact these two days had the longest trek duration. But as already mentioned, you will definitely enjoy the whole trek.
