About the Rafting:
- Delight in an adrenaline pumping experience along the rapids that are a located at Saje, a small village on the banks of River Kundalika.
- The remote hamlet is a short drive from Mumbai just 120km away and 100 km from Pune. Located in the virgin forests below Mulshi and Bhira Dams.
- Spend two hours in this unique rafting site with multiple rides to beat the rapids as you get to body-surf, swim and have a great time.
- Report at raft start point at around 08:15 AM. Have a short briefing session with the river guide. Collect your gear and equipment and head to the river.
- You can then embark on the incredible experience of navigating these rapids that stretch for almost 11km. Thrill yourself with this delightful experience.
- This activity does not require any swimming experience and anyone above the age of 14 can indulge in the activity.
- The site can be accessed by any local transport by road to take back the incredible memories as you embark this activity.

- If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 7
- If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. 7
- Same Day cancellations are non refundable. 7
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same. 7

I don't know about my mates, but I definitely enjoyed the rafting in Kundalika. They were a bit scared to start with, but as we proceeded downstream, they got more comfortable and it was totally worth a visit.

I was a little anxious about how it would turn out, really, when my friends told me about it. But I have to say, it was quite fun. The rafting was adventurous, altogether the surroundings are good, good view, there was always something for my camera. I might come back here again.

The overall rafting in Kundalika was great. The rapids were amazing along with the water splashing on our faces. In the beginning our group found it a bit tough to stay afloat, but after around 4km of rafting we got it and completed the rest of the rafting without toppling down. Nice arrangements made by Thrillophilia and the rafting crew was also very helpful.

What an unbelievable trip, my God! Exceedingly adventurous raft, I've got to say. No trip I ever took came close to this one, and I've taken quite a few. This one is totally gonna be something I'm telling my children, that's for sure.

If you live in Mumbai and are looking for a short getaway, this is it. Kundalika is amazing in Kolad, such positive energy about the whole thing. The raft was a hell of an adrenaline rush, and the general view is quite picturesque. You should've seen the faces of my friends who passed up on this trip, when they saw the snaps. Totally worth a weekend.

Sheer beauty. Amazingly planned and a truly memorable vacation on the waves of river Kundalika. Rafting was exceptionlly thrilling, specially those twists in the river make it even more worth the money. One thing for certain, me and my friends are revisiting Kolad soon.

Who can go?
Almost everybody other than pregnant ladies, heart patients and people with severe asthama can raft. You must tell our Rafting Guide about any significant medical and/or orthopedic condition / history. Decision to allow to raft or otherwise remains with our Rafting guide. Minimum age for Rafting is 14 years. Non-swimmers are most welcome. Good quality life jackets are provided which keep you floating and safe

Yes. While Kundalika is the only river where Rafting technically takes place 365 days an year, there are certain instances when Rafting does not take place.
What are the operating hours?
Rafting Operation is solely dependent on release of water from nearby Dam by Govt. authorities. Water is typically released at 08:15 hrs. There could be a delay in release of water from the Dam. On rare occasions water is not released from the Dam. We refund only the amount that we have collected for Rafting (and not for transport, food, stay or other adventure activities).
