Kuala Lumpur Tower is the seventh tallest telecommunication tower in the world. The apex end of the tower consists of an antenna that touches a height of 1,381 feet. The rest of the tower is connected via a stairwell and an elevator. It encompasses interesting spaces such as the 276 meters high indoor KL Tower Observation Deck, the KL Tower Sky Box which is a glass-enclosed cube that is extended in the air, a mini zoo that nurtures a wide range of exotic animals for the visitors to feed and pet them and to keep the tourists entertained.
The observation deck is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Malaysia to witness the entire cityscape of Kuala Lumpur. It also comprises of a revolving restaurant alongside the telecommunication and broadcasting stations. It was our first visit to Aisa. We loved the KL Tower, staff was helpful and the building was very clean.
The best way to reach KL Tower from Kuala Lumpur city center is by taking a taxi directly to KL Tower. If you are traveling by the MRT buses, the nearest MRT stations to KL tower are Masjid Jamek/Bukit Nanas/Raja Chulan. Once you get off at any of these stations you will be required to walk for another 20 minutes. In order to avoid walking, hire a taxi outside the station and inform him about your location. Almost everyone in the city knows the way to the tower.
The Observation Deck Only package includes your KL Tower ticket that will admit you into the building where you will tour an indoor, air-conditioned viewing gallery and will witness the KL skyline from a height of 276 meters.
In the Observation deck, Sky deck and Skybox package you will receive your KL Tower ticket that will access your admission into the building. In this package, you get to tour the Sky Deck which is an open-air viewing deck that imparts a 360-degree view of the city at a dizzying height of 421 meters above the ground and the Sky Box which is a glass-enclosed cube extended further from the Sky Deck that pours thrill and adventure downright your veins.
The tower opens at 9:00 AM and closes by 10:00 PM every day.
KL tower is situated on Jalan Puncak, a branch of Jalan P. Ramlee. The tower’s main address is - No. 2 Jalan Punchak Off Jalan P.Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia 50250 If you hire a taxi, the driver will simply take you to the tower. It is one of those landmark to which everyone in the city is accustomed to. Bukit Nanas Monorail station and Dang Wangi LRT station are the two closest stations.
The KL Tower Observation Deck rises to a height of 421 meters (1381 feet) above ground level. It is the 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world and one of the tallest skyscrapers in Malaysia.

The tower is standing firm and tall at 300 meters above ground since 1995. The glass chamber is perfectly safe and is hosting hordes of tourist every day. The tower is well supervised under the guidance of the staff present in the building and everything is checked and maintained on a regular basis.
There is a revolving restaurant alongside the telecommunication and broadcasting stations. It can accommodate around 250 people, Atmosphere 360 is equipped with state of the art facilities, an incredible view, and a breathtaking banquet hall. It is situated at a height of 282 meters above ground level.
There are a total of 6 floors in Kuala Lumpur Tower. The KL tower is divided into five sections: The foundation base- further classified into three basements floors which are safety purposes, storage, and maintenance work. The touristic building houses the administration office, a couple of souvenir shops, and the 480 feet long pedestrian mall with tumbling pools. The tower shaft is appointed with 22 levels with four elevators and flights of stairs.
Set at the bottom of the Kuala Lumpur Tower, it is one of the newest petting zoos in Malaysia. Encompassing over 50 species of animals ranging from the exotic breeds to native species. The zoo is further classified into several areas such as Happy Farm Village, the Mini Jungle, Birdy School, Moonlight Shed, Pet Village, Forest Walk, and Jungle View.
Some of the tempting animals that pique everyone’s attention are the two of the world largest tortoises, albino green iguana, the largest local softshell turtle, albino long-tailed macaque, oldest alligator turtle, etc. The zoo or the tower can be reached by public transports includes LRT, free tour bus or monorail.
