Sonaulim is a lesser discovered destination when it comes to Goa. It hosts a four-tiered waterfall, Dudhsagar Falls located on the Mandovi River. It is amongst India's tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m and an average width of 30 metres. The name ‘Dudhsagar’ literally translates to ‘sea of milk’ which many believe is an allusion to the white spray and foam that the great waterfall creates as it cascades into the waters of the lake. The falls are at their zenith during the monsoon season, although they are a popular attraction all year round.

I pre-booked this trek from Thrillophilia for our family trip. our pickup was delayed by half hour but our guide was good and he managed the time, also he showed us some hidden places in the way of trek and gave us breakfast and lunch. The trek was moderate and not so tough, just carry some polybags for keeping your mobile phone, there was good chance of rainfall.
