Beas Kund are the exquisite, snow-kissed mountain ranges that rises in the magnificent mountains of the Himalayas, joins the Indus River. For the ardent adventurer, the Beas Kund mountain passes prove to be an ideal location for trekking and hiking! Beas Kund trekking is one of the most exciting and energizing activities to do on a long weekend trip to Manali.The trek takes you far from the hustle and bustle of Manali and trekkers have been mesmerized by the sheer, white and blue glittered magnificence of the mountains and the lush green sheets of the Dhundi and Bakarthach meadows nearby!

Intimidating and majestic in appearance, the high altitude Alpine lakes and the glacial peaks make for a beautiful landscape here. If hard core trekking is on your to-do list, then you will be pleased as several other royal peaks such as the Shitidhar Peak and Friendship Peak offer you some great trekking routes as well.

The pass showcases clear, clean terrains lined with pine trees, with the sounds of the Beas River gurgling underneath!  Along the way to the peaks, you will come across the challenging and formidable Solang Ropeway point, a popular skiing spot you can enjoy while going for the much awaited Beas Kund trekking!

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Patlikuhal, Drive from Patlikuhal – Naggar – Rumsu

    On your arrival at Patlikuhal, you will take a share cab for your onward journey to Naggar. Click amazing photographs of the rustic scenery while on your way to the homestay in Rumsu. Once you are well relaxed, you could spend an interesting day in sightseeing places well known in the area such as the historic Naggar Castle, Tripura Sundari, Gauri Shankar Temple and the famous Roerich Art Gallery.

  • Day 2 - Trek from Solang Ropeway to Dhundi (7km)

    Today marks the beginning of your amazing trek! Wake up to the breezy, pleasant morning with a delicious breakfast and pack your bags for the trek to Solang Ropeway Point. Keep your delicious lunch ready as you make your way to your destination by cab; a relaxing 2 hour journey! Arriving at the point, proceed to hike for about 7km by tarred road to reach Dhundi. Nature lovers, get your cameras ready as the scenery around Beas gives you Goosebumps! Spend the night in tents at Dhundi, underneath the lovely stars!

  • Day 3 - Trek from Dhundi – Bakerthach – Beas Kund

    Begin your bright day with your trek from Dhundi to Bakerthach! During today’s trek, you will be crossing the Beas River twice as the loud roars of the exuberant waters showcase a treat for the nature lover. The rustic Bakerthach campsite offers a breath-taking view of the Seven Sisters, Friendship Peak and the Shitidhar Peak. The adventure packed trek lasts for around 3 hours to reach the peaks of Beas Kund. For 20 minutes, the trek is steep and gets easier afterwards. If you are ready for a daredevil adventure, you can trek over the frozen river beds of Beas. After a hectic and extremely rewarding day of trekking, start hiking back to the Beas Kund camp for your overnight stay.

  • Day 4 - Trek from Beas Kund to Solang Ropeway Point, Departure from Manali

     Tour Ends Here

    Waking up in the morning, spend some lazy moments around the camp, and start heading back to Dhundi; an easy hike, this will take you around 2 hours. Post lunch in the camp, you can proceed for Solang Ropeway point which will take you around 3 hours. Capture your best memories on your last day of Beas Kund trekking and depart for Manali at around 0600PM; marking an end to a beautiful tour!
