The bracing mountain breeze wafting over the emerald green meadows and the towering snow capped peaks reflecting on the crystal clear lake waters make Kashmir one of the most captivating hideouts in the Indian Himalaya. The region offers oodles of nail-biting activities from strenuous treks and peak climbing to skiing and river rafting. River rafting in Jammu and Kashmir is one such activity that fills the itinerary with some slashing moments. Whitewater rafting is one of the most captivating as well as physically demanding adventure sports around the world. Best places for rafting are on Indus and Zanskar rivers which flow towards the plains, gushing between steep gorges and densely forested hills. Tumbling down in swift currents across boulder strewn-beds, these fast flowing rivers provide a high-action adrenaline rush like no other.

The Zanskar gorge is simply spectacular. The sheer walls of the gorge rise thousands of feet from the river bed into oblivion. The river offers several rapids and passes through some very rough terrain and remote places. River Indus offers popular rafting points from Phey to Nimo, Upshi to Nimo and Upshi to Kharu. Nimo is the confluence point of Indus and Zanskar Rivers where the jade waters of the Indus mix with the mud colored waters of the Zanskar. White water rafting in Ladakh is also the best way to experience the incomparable beauty of the region.
River Sind in Sonmarg and River Lider in Langabal are places in Kashmir Valley for rafting. So build up the confidence and let loose on the best rafting tours in Jammu and Kashmir for a thrilling experience here.

Great trip! I went with my collegues for this tour. Our lodging and food was average. We were joined by another group of people. Everything was well organized for our accommodation and food. The only thing was that you will have to buy your lunch at your own cost. Overall it was good trip.
I booked this tour last summer for Ladakh and the trip turned out to be a great one. We were 5 friends for this trip. It was a heaven for us all after experiencing the scorching heat. The tour was a good one and we also got to enjoy some of the best scenic views here. We visited some of the famous monasteries and fort here. The best part of the whole tour was out drive to the Nubra valley via Khardung la pass. We also visited the Deskit Monastery and also few of the historical places here. The camps provided to us on our stay were also good. All together it was a great trip.
I can say it was a great trip and that too at a reasonable price. Last summer I booked this sightseeing tour to Ladakh along with few of my friends. The tour was for 9 days and everything was included in the package. After the booking process everything went on smooth. We were provided with all the facilities during our tour. And we had the most wonderful guide; he was not only taking care of our needs but also cracked few jokes to keep us all happy. Accommodation and food was also good. We visited some of the monasteries and it totally revived us from our tiredness. The best part of our trip was our camping , we had the most amazing views during the night time.
We planned for this trip to Ladakh last June along with my friends. It was a sudden trip cause we dicided to go to Dehradun but instead decided for the Ladakh trip. We booked the tour from Thrillophilia. Everything was very well arranged for us. We were provided with the best accommodation and food. We also had camping in this package which was like a double treat for all of us. It was a great adventure camping under the clear night sky. We visited the famous museum Hall of fame and then Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hil. We also drive to the Nubra Valley via Khardung la pass. The best part of the whole trip was our visit to the Pangong Lake. We all keep staring at the lake as it colour is so beautiful. Also, you can enjoy the glorious sunset here. We departed on the 9 th day with lots of memories. Loved the whole trip.

Nice trip my life
As we visited Ladakh we got to know that everything about it is exceptionally attractive and worth exploring. And also when we have such good and cooperative team it becomes more comfortable and reliable for the travelers. Thanks for a memorable trip.
A complete fun trip. I never expected I could be a part of Ladakh trip because of the season the trips are available and my job. But last year I decided to take two weeks leave and go with some of my friends. It was really an amazing place with a lot of things to see. Rivers were there, mountains were there, forests were there, tribal people were there, monasteries at a great height were there and much more. I did not want to come back seriously. It was that great a trip.
A memorable trip with my friends. I thought a lot before booking this trip. But my friends told me I had to have good physical fitness to protect myself from the cold and everything else will be fine. Thus I joined the team. There were other tourists also with us. Together we had a good time in an amazing place. Though I like to take photographs, most of the times I forgot to click the pictures because I wanted to enjoy the beauty of Ladakh with my naked eyes. I was asking the guide with us to explain the importance of each location we covered. He has been guiding a hundred teams for last some years, so he knew everything about the location and he even clearly knew when we should camp and when we should stop cycling and all. The team with him was very supportive and helping. Totally, a very good trip.
Comparing to other Ladakh trips, this was a short trip for 10 days but all the ten days of it offered the best it could. We saw the nature changing itself during the trip. It was an incomparable view. Cycling was the most exciting part of the trip. The rough roads were a challenge but had a great time.
We were 6 friends who went on this trip. It was great adventure for all of us. Made the booking with Thrillophilia and it was a smooth process. We also had the best guide all throughout our trip. He gave a detail about each of the places. All together a good trip.
