It was a very well organised trek by friendly and courteous hosts. Shahid, Danny, Habib and Avinash were great and were fun to trek with. Homestay near Shuntikoppa was beautiful with coffee plantations close-by and it was raining the whole time. Trek is an easy to medium range one. Except for the rain and leeches (which we were informed earlier) there is absolutely nothing to point out in the trek. We met many new people and it felt like college days all over again. Loved this trek and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I would say that this is once in a lifetime trekking experience. Conquering the 3 highest peak. Karthik n Anupam who were our ODL made our trek memorable n entertaining through out, very friendly n energetic guys. We never felt that this was a group trek with some strangers, it was a nice bonding experience n meet new people. It’s a must do for core trekkers.. tests your endurance n spirt. 22 kms to n fro.. if u think only climb would b difficult n u can come down easily your wrong.. the path is so narrow n tricks n will test you in each n evry corner. A sense of accomplishment after completing the trip successfully with lots of stories to tell around and eager to venture on the next one. Thanks a lot to Anupam n karthik who took such good care of us throughout the trip.. awesome hospitality. Would love trekking with you all again soon

Excellent
It was my first trekking and had loads of fun :) Planning another trip with thrillophilia grp very soon.
"We had taken 7PM-11AM package for 6 people over Diwali holiday. It was well organised and hosted by them. It is located around 75km from Bangalore and drive was also mesmerizing during our time. So, based on overall experience below are my rating:\nHosting: 4/5\nNight Event (Bonfire): 4/5\nTrekking: 5/5( Must attend)\nOutside Activities :5/5( Rapplin, Mud games, kayaking etc).\nFood: 4.5/5\nValue for Money: 5/5\n\nNote: Only thing I didn't like was sleeping in tent. It should have been flat and sponge but rather it was sloppy and uneven. Also, if you close the zip of tent it feels like gas chamber. \n\nOther than this its a must tryout over the weekend...????"

Dhruv - (full time software enginner) who was our instructor/guide made our trek memorable n entertaining through out, very friendly n energetic guys. Right from the pickup point to drop point everything was well planned and executed properly - comfortable stay with delicious freshly cooked food(Veg and Non-Veg), snacks n tea, hot water bath everything we needed they had it! We never felt that this was a group trek with some strangers, it was a nice bonding experience n meeting new people. The route stretching 22 kms to to the top and back will definitely test your endurance. A sense of accomplishment after completing the trip successfully with lots of stories to tell around and eager to venture on the next one. Thanks a lot to Dhruv and local tour guide who took such good care of us throughout the trip and always behind the last person no matter how slow they are. Would love trekking with you all again soon. A lot of memories captured in our mind and in our phones. Bonus - we also went to Belur Temple on the way back which wasn't included in the itenary. Superb
Tent was Fine, lights will be harsh till 1am, after that its peaceful, so guys wait till then to stargaze. Food was decent. There were Outdoor Activities like Mud games, Kayaking, Swimming, etc. Only 2 carrom considering the crowd, it was always occupied. Staff were very friendly. What was missing? Trekking! (which we were told was there) There were couples and families too but I would suggest this place is good for team outing or group of friends.
"Firstly and Foremostly, AN EXCELLENT AND AN ENCHANTING PLACE but Shilhaandara Resort disappointed me big time. Location of the resort was superb and so was the room but unprofessional staff, distance between lodging and cafeteria and unfriendly attitude of the cafeteria members was highly not expected. They need to work on the quality of staff and train them to act more professional. An extra pillow request makes them unhappy at times. Their 215 number is engaged 24/7. Food is average and so are the choices. Restaurants are dimly lit with absolutely no proper seating arrangements. Overall 3.5 stars out of 5.0. "
