The tourist places in Pushkar offer you tranquility and joy, which result in the huge number of travelers that end up here. Pushkar is a favorite destination for the devotees too. It has a great number of temples and 50 bathing ghats. It’s believed that Brahma had dropped a lotus here, which resulted in the emergence of a holy lake. The lake has turned Pushkar into a pilgrimage. If you are planning a holiday in Rajasthan, then Pushkar must be included to your itinerary.

The city is surrounded by small hills from three sides. It’s known as a city of festivals and quite rightly so. They offer colors and music like you might never have experienced before. With its lakes, temples, and natural beauty, Pushkar will most definitely satisfy your senses. The hopping experience is another thing that you can enjoy in this city. The main street of Pushkar is also its market area. You can spend an entire day walking down the street looking for things that you want to buy. The evening puja ceremonies are enchanting. The music and the chants will captivate your mind and purify your soul.

There are a few things that you need to keep in mind when traveling across tourist places in Pushkar. A large number of wild monkeys live in this city, especially around the temples. Keep your food hidden and don’t engage with them. Another thing to keep in mind is that you need an expert guide to enjoy the city and know about its history. The best way to find the right guide is to ask your hotel staff to find you one. That way you will be safe from any fraud.
