About Freshwater BeachFreshwater is an amazing beach nestled between two peak lands. In the northern peak it does provide protection in the summer from the waves, however throughout the year the waves are fairly consistent. Freshwater Beach is under the aegis of the Manly-Freshwater National and World Surfing Reserve that recognizes the environmental, cultural and historical values of beaches. The Beach is beautiful and stands apart in its own right for its environmental heritage. Most tourist places are fun but this aims to educate the people with regards to safeguarding our environment.
