Erawan Shrine in Bangkok, not entirely Buddhist pulls in a greater number of guests than a number of the city's sanctuaries. It was raised amid the mid1950s, after the Thai government had chosen to fabricate the extravagant Erawan Hotel in this area. In any case, the first phases of the development were plagued with such a large number of issues that superstitious workers declined to proceed unless the area spirits were pacified. After conferences with celestial prophets, the erection of a hallowed place to respect the four confronted Brahma God, Than Tao Mahaprom, was thought to be a favorable arrangement. A sublime picture of the Brahma God was particularly thrown and plated, and The Erawan Hotel opened to recognitions and overall acclaim for three decades. Towards the end, the property couldn't contend with more cutting edge offices, and was replaced by the exclusive Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok in 1991. As the shrine was initially developed to match the grandeur of the old Erawan Hotel, the area came to be known as the Erawan Shrine.
Opening Hours: 06:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Location: In front of Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, corner of Ploenchit and Ratchadamri Road
